Ireland Immersion

For two weeks in September principals and executive staff from the Sydney Patrician colleges will be on pilgrimage to Ireland to immerse themselves in all things Celtic, Bishop Delany, and Patrician. They will be accompanied full-time by Brother Peter Ryan (CL) and Brother Aengus Kavanagh both of Sydney.

The main events:

  • Visiting Patrician Secondary School, Newbridge. >>
  • Visiting Maynooth College, Ireland’s seminary, where Bishop Delany was a founding trustee.
  • Visiting the Br Paul O’Connor memorial in Kingston, Galway.
  • Visiting the oldest school still bearing the name Patrician: The Bish (St Joseph’s Patrician College), Galway.
  • Days of retreat.
  • Education conference.
