The
Patrician Brothers
were founded in 1808
by
Bishop Daniel
Delany.
This
remarkable
man, who dedicated his life to
working
for the
poor, gave us the ultimate
'mission
statement'
when
he said on
his death bed:
"Love
God
and
live together
in
peace and charity."
Since
then the Brothers
have spread right around the globe, seeking out those most
in
need of education,
support and the love of
God.
Living always
in community with one
another,
working
as teachers in the broadest
sense
of the word, Patrician Brothers have
never
ceased to
strive to live up to the ideals
of
our founder expressed
in that simple sentence.
