The Brothers presented him with a missionary cross - as
is our
tradition since 1968 for Brothers who have gone to PNG - to help remind
him of Christ's presence with him as well as the presence of his fellow
Patricians in thought, word, and prayer.

Brother Peter Ryan, who has been the novice master, and is our Vicar
General - number two in the Congregation - will be heading off to Kenya
for while to help with a Patrician renewal programme being run there.
He will eventually return to PNG to continue to assist with the
Patrician formation programme.
