German colours. A few photos were then taken after which the group had a simple afternoon tea.
There was a great atmosphere. The young and not-quite-so-young men and women were getting very excited about it all, and there was a genuine enthusiasm about the whole purpose of the event. One of the students - Adrian from Fairfield Patrician Brothers - had put a PowerPoint together to show us the how, why, and where, of the pilgrimage. It is included here.
No doubt it will be an adventure, an experience, which will remain with our thirteen for many years to come.
