If you know anything about a portrait of

Judith Wogan-Browne
(Ireland, 1750 - 1848)

we would appreciate a communication from you:
secretariat@patricianbrothers.com

Judith Wogan-Browne was a member of an aristocratic
Irish family, the family home at Clongowes Wood in 1814
becoming a Jesuit College.

She worked closely with Bishop Daniel Delany in the
early years of the Sisters of St Brigid in Tullow and
Mountrath.

She never became a Brigidine Sister but on her death
she was buried in the Sisters’ cemetery at Tullow.

It is believed that the portrait may have been auctioned in 1986.

The Brigidine Sisters would very much appreciate
the opportunity to obtain a copy of the portrait of
a lady who played an integral part in their foundation.

AKA: Judith Browne, Judith Wogan, Judith Wogan Browne.
